The Daily
Every day One More has one Daily course, and every player gets exactly the same one. You get three tries. Your best try is your score for the day. A new Daily opens at midnight UTC.
A new Daily opens every day at midnight UTC.
The rules
- Three official tries. Your best one counts. The other two are still worth playing: the course doesn't change between them.
- A try counts from the moment it starts. If you leave the app in the middle of a run, the score you had is kept as that try.
- Replay for fun. After your three tries you can run the same course again as often as you like. Replays never change your score.
- Always free to play. Every player gets the same three tries. Nothing can be bought that changes a Daily score.
When does the Daily reset?
At midnight UTC, the same instant everywhere. On your phone the home screen shows when the next one opens in your own time. For reference:
| Where | New Daily opens (local time) |
|---|---|
| Los Angeles, Vancouver | 5:00 PM with daylight time, 4:00 PM without |
| New York, Toronto | 8:00 PM with daylight time, 7:00 PM without |
| London | 1:00 AM in summer time, midnight in winter |
| Berlin, Paris | 2:00 AM in summer time, 1:00 AM in winter |
| India | 5:30 AM |
| Tokyo | 9:00 AM |
| Sydney | 10:00 AM in winter, 11:00 AM with daylight time |
In the Americas that is the afternoon or evening before, by the local calendar: a Daily that opens at 5:00 PM in Los Angeles is the next day's Daily.
Why UTC and not your own midnight? So the whole world is on one course at a time. If each time zone started its own day, two people playing at the same moment could be on different courses, and comparing scores would mean nothing.
Why a Daily score is fair
- The course comes from the date. Each Daily's blocks are generated from its number with a fixed recipe, so every iPhone builds the same blocks in the same places.
- Same width everywhere. The shaft is the same width on every iPhone. A bigger screen shows a little more of what's coming up, never a different course.
- Same physics everywhere. The game moves in fixed steps, 240 a second, whatever the phone's frame rate. The same taps at the same moments give the same run on any iPhone.
The numbering started with Daily #1 on September 30, 2026, and goes up by one every day.
Sharing and everyone's numbers
After your three tries, "Beat my score" sends a card with your best and your three tries, so a friend can take on the same course that day. Each Daily also has its own page at onemorewall.com/d/ followed by its number. Once enough players have finished it, that page shows how many played, the typical score and what it took to reach the top 10% and top 1%: anonymous totals, no names. See today's Daily page.
